Shingai Njeri Kagunda

Shingai Njeri Kagunda is a storyteller, teacher, student, and Black Speculative fiction writer from Nairobi, Kenya who has been published in Omenana, FANTASY Magazine, Fractured Lit, and Khoreo magazine. Shingai’s novella & This is How to Stay Alive is set to be published by Neon Hemlock in October 2020.

She is the co-founder of Voodoonauts, a member of Clarion Ghost class 2020, and the co-editor of Podcastle magazine 2021.
