Sarah Raughley

Sarah Raughley is a children’s author, writer and academic. She is the author of The Effigies Series and the recently released YA Historical Fantasy, The Bones of Ruin, about an African tightrope dancer in Victorian London. She has been a pop culture and Black culture columnist on CBC radio and has written essays for publications such as Teen Vogue, NBC and The Washington Post. As an emerging Young Adult fiction writer her novels and short stories tackle issues of social justice.
