Lavanya Lakshminarayan

Lavanya Lakshminarayan is a speculative fiction writer from India. She’s the award-winning author of “Analog/ Virtual: And Other Simulations Of Your Future”, which won the Times of India AutHer Award for Best Debut, and was a Locus Award finalist for Best Collection. Her novel was also long-listed for the BSFA Award for Best Novel, and is currently on the shortlist for the Valley of Words Award. Her forthcoming work includes short fiction in various anthologies, and she is currently working on her next novel.

Lavanya has also spent the better part of a decade as a game designer. She’s built worlds for Zynga Inc.’s FarmVille and Mafia Wars franchises, among a ton of other games.
