Bezi Yohannes
Bezi Yohannes is a bookstagrammer and writer who reviews YA and speculative fiction by Black authors at @beingabookwyrm. She received her Masters from Georgetown University, where she wrote her thesis on colorblind casting and Black women in fantasy media. When she’s not immersed in Black fantasy novels, she’s analyzing visibility vs. representation in “diverse” fantasy adaptations and medieval dramas. She currently works as the digital marketing assistant for Penguin Teen and Penguin Kids.
